River to Ocean

“River To Ocean”, seeing who you are while flowing your way. It combines Kou’s textile work with Nie's 3D wearable sculptures that resemble splashing liquid frozen in time. The models were Nie's 3D design and sculptures as hats, vests, and decorations on their shoes. The wearable sculptures mimic different forms in moments of how water drops on flowers or collide with rocks. Evolve

Evolve is a cosmic kaleidoscope that changes colors as viewers walk by. At dawn, Evolve refracts sunlight into a dichromatic rainbow throughout the lobby of Leidos Inc. Visitors are welcomed in with playful colored shadows that move throughout the day. Evolve is gracefully suspended by aircraft cable, and uses NASA developed dichroic Plexiglas to create a space age feel. The sculptures apex features a Penrose triangle proving that this once thought impossible object can, in fact, exist.

Turtel

Turtle Granting, Colorful Silk Granting, Safety Granting. The unsophisticated Penghu inherits the emotions of generations and collective memories over the past hundred years. The colorful stacking and clustering represent the richness of marine resources, praying that this island and ocean can forever coexist and prosper, and hoping that through praying over the crystal ball everyone wishes can come true.

Studio Kahn prepared the plaster forms for all of their toys, and started to give them their new life as high, glorious, bone china items. The products are created in an endless game in which toy parts are put together, and are chosen to enter the collection according to criteria of form and usage.

Leonardo 1482

The Leonardo 1482 is like nothing ever seen. It is an interactive light. The light is part machine and part light fixture. The light source is directed onto magnifiers to intensify the light. The light is then directed onto the mirrors. A simple pull on the chain causes eight wheels to move simultaneously to change the direction of the light from the wall onto the floor.
