Lagan

Lagan is a conversation-starter coffee table that was born through a cultural identity marriage between two unique countries; Jordan and Uzbekistan. This rounded coffee table with 8mm glass top is made of an old Jordanian brass piece-originally a washing utensil- and Uzbek Suzanni- an embroidered tribal textile from Central Asia Region, Uzbekistan in particular- upholstered on a wooden base fabric stretched over a wooden base. The design is the latest addition to Badr Adduja collection.

Flow

This is a cutting-edge design for those seeking something completely different and modern or just a practical set of furniture. This elegant design creates a graceful interplay between the organic lines and a contemporary look. “Flow” effortlessly fuses the worlds of sculptural art with product design, and makes a huge visual impact within many interior styles. Its adaptability is wonderfully suited for many settings from corporate to residential. The user can change the appearance and utility of the space by using multiple configurations of the pieces creating a stunning view.

A consumer's diary

Nowadays identities are structured around the idea of consumption – in other words people create a sense of who they are through what they consume. Material objects are seen as an expression of modern values, attitudes and beliefs, they also give consumers a sense of belonging to a certain group of people. Therefore I decided to explore my own consumer’s identity through publishing a collection of my recent receipts - recreating my individual qualities, group membership and social standing based on the products I've recently consumed

The Lighthouse of Wishes

This is a special project made possible after its selection as the "best new years eve architectural proposal" by the community's residents in an open poll. This is not only an installation art, but also a community participation activity. Both locals and visitors can draw their vision for the New Year on building facade materials. In addition, an activity was promoted and launched through social media which received a large number of submissions. Each person who submitted a design became an architect of the art installation.
