Exploded

Exploded Chair is inspired by the long process behind the creation of furniture often taken for granted. Made of solid wood combined with clear resin, this chair exposes the joint system, which is one of the most important parts of a chair but usually hidden. By accentuating parts typically hidden, Exploded Chair attempts to depict the assembly process so the user can know how the craftsmen turn raw materials into the final product.

Breeze

Breeze is a Sculpture’s exhibition pedestal. It is deliberately design to improve the appreciation of Sculpture while providing a solid fixture and safety from general public. Breeze originates as a response to create harmony between applied arts (Interior decoration, and architecture) and fine arts (Sculpture). The design combines tangible and ambiguous elements to produce a balance relation between the Sculpture, the Plinth and the Space.

Labyrinth

The Danish designer and craftman Benjamin Nordsmark have created the Labyrinth Table to show how a wellknown object like a table can be given an extra dimension by creating a small universe inside of it. The Labyrinth consist of several walls under a sheet of diamont glass. And inside of it there are six characteristic figures that can be moved around by handles underneath it. The idea is to generate nostalgic feelings in peoples mind and encourage them to explore and to go deeper into the story of the labyrinth.

The Doubleface

The vibrant, unexpected and surreal nature of the Mexican character inspired the furniture collection “Los Enmascarados”, reflecting iconic Mexican masks. The Doubleface is one of the five pieces of the collection, his mask represents the battle between good and evil. The left side of the piece represents the good face, it seems normal, with its feet properly on the ground and its drawers facing the right way. The right side is the evil face, its feet are sticking dangerously up in the air and it has its unexpected evil drawer, you don’t really know what will happen when you open it.

Scarlet Ibis

The project is a sequence of digital paintings of the Scarlet Ibis and its natural environment, with special emphasis on color and their vibrant hue that intensifies as the bird grows. The work develops amongst natural surroundings combining real and imaginary elements that provide unique features. The scarlet ibis is a native bird of South America that lives on the coasts and marshes of northern Venezuela and the vibrant red color constitutes a visual spectacle for the viewer. This design aims to highlight the graceful flight of the scarlet ibis and the vibrant colors of the tropical fauna.

Labyrinth

Labyrinth by ArteNemus is a chest of drawers whose architectural appearance is emphasized by the meandering path of its veneer, reminiscent of streets in a city. The remarkable conception and mechanism of the drawers complement its understated outline. The contrasting colors of the maple and black ebony veneer as well as the high quality craftsmanship underscore Labyrinth’s exclusive appearance.
