grade B shelf

The design was made with a glass marble called B DAMA in japan with a context of a defective item. Kairo Kusamoto attempted to change the meaning that the marbles have, especially by using B DAMA used in Japan for furniture decoration. The design was created by a defective material, so this shelf was partially treated to remove the glass marbles on the surface, to include that meaning and context in object. This design can give an impression that it is not only one of the tool and decoration of interior, but also the strength of time-consuming handcraft.

Flower of life

It is hand-made, representing its uniqueness. It is a transparent world, completely sealed. It appears dreamlike, three-dimensional, and floating. Furthermore, it shows people the fusion of life and nature is both beautiful and holy. To depict details so miniscule that they measure at less than one millimeter is absolutely a skillful art which challenges the patience and vision of the artist. However, it also shows different magical effects in different lights.

Robot

It is hand-made. It appears dreamlike, three-dimensional, and floating. By complex constructions and flowing light rays, the robot shows a future world full of precision and energy! Its thin stripes and lights show the power and the structure, fine and precise. To depict details so miniscule that they measure at less than one millimeter is absolutely a skillful art which challenges the patience and vision of the artist. It is a part of a series of realized and not realized ideas, that has a very abstract and diverse research field such.

Flock

Bean Buro proposed an exterior art installation piece at the entrance of an industrial building, to strengthen its identity and legibility in the area. A flock of LED light columns clad in lightweight mesh coloured in a gradient from yellow to orange serve as a subtle reference to the company’s brand identity. The formation was an interpretation of envisaging the company's logistics activities and data.

Amoeba Wall

Amoeba Wall's design is inspired by the fluid forms and mechanisms of amoeba. It is primarily used as a tangible interface to allow users to achieve efficient workspace reconfiguration and dynamic lighting at the same time. The walls will autonomously shape the room around users such as creating small individual offices, open co-working spaces, and private meeting spaces, responding to their needs. Also, it can also form responsive art installation like an endless maze, or a dancing wall that follows the surrounding music.
