Fountain of Life

This sculptural piece, located at İstanbul Airport's Kaimakk Restaurant, combines traditional travertine stone with large scale glass splashes to represent the concept of time. The stone fountain symbolizes the past, while the glass splashes, appearing to emerge from the fountain, capture the present moment. The design stands out through its integration of contrasting materials and its symbolic representation of time, blending craftsmanship with a narrative that reflects both history and the present in a dynamic form.

The Chakai

Tango Chirimen, soaked with images projected by projection mapping, was used as a psychological boundary. The extremely thin cloth fluctuates with the slightest movement of air, such as the movement of a person, and responds to the movement of the cloth interactively by means of sensors embedded in the cloth. The material used for the floor is a decorative plywood made by pasting rush grass, which would normally have been discarded, onto plywood because it was not long enough to fit into the tatami weaving machine.

Nesting Plan VII Formosan Wild Boar

Nesting Plan VII Formosan Wild Boar is inspired by the nesting behavior of Taiwan's native wild boar. The work reflects the animal's instinct to build protective shelters using natural materials and to position itself with its snout facing the entrance as a form of vigilance. Made from native cedar and bamboo, the structure incorporates traditional joinery techniques along with digital design tools to create a nestlike space that visitors can enter. The curved seating orients the body toward the opening, echoing the boar's posture and encouraging interaction with the forest surroundings.

A key challenge was balancing material weight with perceived lightness, making stainless steel and bronze feel ethereal. The installation engages visitors through subtle, rhythmic motion and quiet mechanical operation, contributing to the architectural identity of the space. Designed to integrate seamlessly with complementary interactive systems, the kinetic wall enables synchronized choreographies that enrich the visitor experience through unobtrusive technological interaction.

The project is an immersive commercial art space with the theme of Rebirth, which relates that an AI girl who recreates our home earth by memory extraction and remodeling in the future, through various technical means such as physical production, mechanical construction, and control programming. The unique visual experience and conceptual thinking, combined with technology, art, and fashion elements, fits perfectly with the commercial space, bringing people an unusual journey to welcome rebirth, and reflect on the value of life and fashion.
