‘…quel genio di Arturo!’

The famous tale of Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp inspires the object’s shape while modern technology creates its magic effects. Made of a black carbon fiber epoxy resin, the lamp turns on/ off/ dims at the lightest touch. Conceived as table lamp, wall or suspension, this fantasy object is dedicated – on his specific request - to Arturo Brachetti, new genius of the lamp and internationally well-known, extraordinary quick-change actor. For him the object is called ‘…quel genio di Arturo!’. Suitable to create atmosphere in private or public spaces, as hotels, restaurants, SPA and yacht interiors

Daphne

Daphne is a site-specific installation situated within the tunneled stairway that interplays with the notion of concealing and revealing the ancient walls of the tunnel leading to the peak of Kasteli. Every object comes with a progressive serial number certificate.

Perilous

I innovate in moulded glass to create sculptures and architectural features. Colour and form language are the elemental aesthetic considerations in all work I generate, and the ability to tailor make a palette range for each project provides unique outcomes. Permanent transparency and saturation of hue coupled with compressive strength provides an ideal structural material that is characteristically activated by light and space. In researching this work I am fascinated by geometric patterns in three dimensional structures and see great potential applications in contemporary architecture

Wink

This ephemeral architecture is the common ground between architecture and art. This unique work, exhibited at the Kobe Biennial 2013 in Japan, has been designed to please the eye and meet easy-assembly requirements, zipping any of it's components to the next one making a perfect art piece that changes as you walk inside of it. The relationship between the structure itself and the visitors is quite close, since anyone can open or close any of its parts as if it was a window. The intention of this work is to show anyone how architecture can be also, lightweight and mobile.

Loving Nature

Loving nature is an art project relating to love, enjoyment and respect for nature. On each painting Gabriela Delgado places emphasis in the color, carefully choosing the items that blend harmoniously to achieve a lush but simple finish. The research and the genuine love she has for design gives her an intuitive ability to create vibrant colored pieces with spot elements ranging from the fantastic to the ingenuous. Her culture and personal experiences also play an important role, since they shape the compositions into unique visual narratives.
