This is a cutting-edge design for those seeking something completely different and modern or just a practical set of furniture. This elegant design creates a graceful interplay between the organic lines and a contemporary look. “Flow” effortlessly fuses the worlds of sculptural art with product design, and makes a huge visual impact within many interior styles. Its adaptability is wonderfully suited for many settings from corporate to residential. The user can change the appearance and utility of the space by using multiple configurations of the pieces creating a stunning view.
Creativity laboratory in which is carried out a research using unusual materials, developing art-design projects. As result of the research with acetic silicone born MU’trans project. Unique handcrafted pieces or limited edition, in which the home accessory is seen as object-sculpture crossing the thin line between art and design. The objects created look like static but they become tender, elastic and mobile if touched; they start to vibrate and wave unexpectedly. They interact with the user stiring up contrasting feelings. Big Furniture Like a Cave This is the award-winning project won the Grand Prize of Art in Container International Competition. My idea is to hollow out the volume inside a container in order to build amorphous space like a cave. It is made of only plastic material. About 1000 sheets of the soft plastic material of 10-mm thickness were cut down in contour line form and were laminated like stratum. This is not only art but also big furniture. Because all the portions are soft like a sofa, and person who enter into this space can relax by finding the place suitable for the form of its own body.
This is an installation commisioned by the National Museum of Singapore for Children's Season , co curated with Playeum, and is designed as a playground with 3 big telescope. These telescopes tap on a child's natural inquisitive nature to look through a telescope. Each telescope is angled at a specific urban object in the city and with graphics added to the lens , allowing the children to see our city in a different light. The impetus of this installation is to encourage the children to think beyond what they see and to let what they observe in the city be a base for further imagination.
