Opx2

Opx2 is an optic installation that explores a symbiotic relationship between nature and technology. A relationship where patterns, repetition, and rhythm describe both natural formations and operations of computing processes. The installations reclusive geometry, momentary opacity and/or density are similar to the phenomenon of driving by a cornfield or explained in technology while looking at binary code. Opx2 builds complex geometry and challenges ones perception of volume and space.

Eyelash Stand

This design explores a metaphor of eyelash. The designer considers eyelashing is a pursuit for a personal expectation. He creates an eyelash stand as an icon of life or a miniature stage of performance. This stand symbolizes a reminiscent commitment in the morning or before bedtime, by setting eyelashes temporarily before or after being applied. An eyelash stand is a way to memorize what something trivial has contributed to personal daily adventure.

Billy Julie

This design is inspired by micro-expression. The designer chooses Billy and Julie for two kinds of multiple personalities. The intricate elements are created by parametric adjustment of the orientations of a ladder-like geometry, based on an entangled curve with partitions. As an interface and an interpreter, this mask is created to make people examine one's own conscience.

Amoeba Wall

Amoeba Wall's design is inspired by the fluid forms and mechanisms of amoeba. It is primarily used as a tangible interface to allow users to achieve efficient workspace reconfiguration and dynamic lighting at the same time. The walls will autonomously shape the room around users such as creating small individual offices, open co-working spaces, and private meeting spaces, responding to their needs. Also, it can also form responsive art installation like an endless maze, or a dancing wall that follows the surrounding music.
